I am a freelance writer and journalist whose work is published in major newspapers and magazines. I worked as a full time journalist for The Australian Financial Review and magazine titles within Fairfax Business Media before becoming a freelance feature writer. Besides being able to write about general human interest topics, my training and practice as a solicitor means I can report on court hearings of any kind and write about technical legal issues in an easily understandable and engaging way.
I am in the final stages of writing a book on the disappearance of infant Tegan Lane. Her mother, Keli, has been charged with murder and her trial begins in July. If you want to learn how to get your message across in the media, I offer media training. Two hour through to full day sessions are available. Videos of your performance in mock interviews or press conferences are a valuable learning tool, so please enquire about price and package options.
Getting your message across to your organisation’s members is also very important. I have experience in writing and editing newsletters (however please note I do not provide layout or photography services). I will conduct interviews, write articles and polish the work of others so the true voice of your organisation appears on the page.
